Crime Scene Unit

The Sheriff’s Office has a trained crime scene technician, equipment, and an equipped vehicle for use at crime scenes throughout Clermont County. This operation generally consists of taking photographs and fingerprints, and collecting evidence. This evidence is then returned to the Sheriff’s Office and subjected to further in-house analysis or alternatively, transported to off-site crime labs (e.g. Miami Valley, BCI, FBI) for examination.
