The following Clermont County Sheriff’s Office employees have been recognized in 2009 for superior and noteworthy performance:
Sheriff's Commendation
Sgt. Paul Kamphaus is hereby awarded the Sheriff’s Commendation for his leadership and motivational effectiveness which has produced noteworthy results in productivity by Deputies under his supervision.
Deputy William “Billy” Crouch is hereby awarded the Sheriff’s Commendation for his action on January 4, 2009, in assisting a physically challenged citizen and his dogs to safety from a residential fire, and then returning to the residence to extinguish the fire.
Sheriff's Merit Award
Corrections Officer Andy Davis is hereby awarded the Sheriff’s Merit Award for his noteworthy performance as a member of the Task Force One Dive Team, and for his valuable assistance with the Junior Police Academy.
Lt. David Doyle is hereby awarded the Sheriff’s Merit Award for his several years of exemplary performance in various assignments.
Citizen Recognition
Brandon Hoeppner is hereby recognized for his valuable assistance in creating and implementing an improved Records Management System for the Sheriff’s Office.
Mike Elam is hereby recognized for providing equipment and technology for the Sheriff’s Office which has significantly enhanced investigative operations.
Clermont County Citizens Law Enforcement Association Awards
Lieutenant Steve Leahy, Lt. Dave Doyle, Investigator Mike Robinson, Investigator Matt Farmer, Investigator Greg Moran, Investigator Lori Saylor, Investigator Bernard Boerger and Deputy Jessie Wilson were presented the 2009 Award for “Criminal Investigation of the Year by a Large Department”, by the Clermont County Citizens Law Enforcement Association.
