Bethel, Ohio- June 30, 2010- The Clermont County Grand Jury returned indictments today against two individuals as a result of the death of a 3 year-old Bethel child, Jerry Wells, who died on June 1, 2010.
Timothy Hoskins, age 42, the step-father of the child, is currently in the Clermont County jail being held on a $750,000 dollar bond for related child endangering charges that were previously filed. In addition to those charges, he was indicted today by the Clermont County Grand Jury for Murder, a Felony of the 1st degree for the death of Jerry Wells, and Tampering with Evidence, a Felony of the 3rd degree.
The mother of the child, Krystle Hoskins, 24 years-old, was charged on June 24, 2010, with Child Endangering, a 3rd degree felony and is in jail on that charge under a $100,000 dollar bond. She was indicted today for that endangering charge as well as Involuntary Manslaughter, a Felony of the 1st degree for the death of her son, and Tampering with Evidence, a Felony of the 3rd degree.
