Sheriff Rodenberg said, “On July 21, 2010, the Clermont County Grand Jury indicted Sherman Adamson DOB 10/03/50 for Possession of Marijuana, Trafficking in Marijuana, Cultivation of Marijuana, and Illegal Assembly or Possession of Chemicals for the Manufacture of Drugs, all of which are felonies.”
Agents opened an investigation after receiving information that marijuana was being cultivated at Adamson’s home. The task force and Pierce Township Police Department executed a search warrant at Adamson’s home address of 3352 Nine Mile-Tobasco Rd. on July 2, 2010.
Chief Deputy Rick W. Combs said, “Two separate grow operations were found. One was located in the residence and the second was an underground operation found hidden under the garage. Agents said both operations were extremely sophisticated producing high grade marijuana.”
Approximately 260 marijuana plants were recovered in various stages of growth along with approximately $7,000.00, eight handguns and one rifle.
