May 7th – 13th is National Correctional Officer Week.  On behalf of the Office of Clermont County, Ohio, Sheriff, I thank each and every one of you for your excellent service on behalf of the people of this county

You are “special” men and women with extra ordinary interpersonal skills:  patience, understanding, dedication to duty, and strength of character.  You do more than “guard” offenders.  You treat, counsel, train,   teach, and rebuild lives.  You give hope.

On the job challenges are presented to you every day, you meet such with the quiet dignity you possess.
