The Sheriff’s Office currently has three canine units. All the canines and handlers attend training programs meeting State of Ohio canine certification criteria.
Deputy Kirker’s partner is “Paik”, a German Shepherd trained in patrol duties.
Deputy Spears partner is “Paco”, a Belgian Malinois also trained in patrol duties.
Deputy Dyer is the handler for “Sammy”, a bloodhound used for locating missing and wanted persons.
