Captain Greg Moran began his career in Law Enforcement in 1993 as a Deputy Sheriff with the Brown County Sheriff’s Office, In 2003 Greg joined the Clermont County Sheriff’s Office as a Road Patrol Deputy. Greg serves on the Task Force One Dive Team.  In 2007, Greg was assigned as an Investigator to the Investigative Unit. In 2014 he was promoted to the rank of Sergeant of the Investigative Unit.

In 2017 Greg was promoted to Captain and continued to manage Investigations as well as the Clermont County Narcotics Unit.

Captain Moran graduated from the Ohio Peace Officer Training Academy in London Ohio. Greg has continued his professional education by attending a number of advanced investigative courses which included Homicide Investigation at the University of Louisville Southern Police Institute, CVSA (Certified Voice Stress Analysis) operator, and is a certified firearms instructor.  Captain Moran graduated from Public Safety Leadership Academy, John Glenn College of Public Affairs, at The Ohio State University in June 2017.
