Lieutenant Jason Swallen, Professional Standards

 

Lieutenant Jason Swallen began his career in law enforcement as a corrections Officer for the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office in 2005, after completing his active-duty obligation to the United States Marine Corps, but continued to serve in the reserve component until 2012. He received his Ohio Peace Officer Certification from the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Patrol Academy in 2007. In 2013, Lieutenant Swallen accepted a position as a Patrol Deputy for the Clermont County Sheriff’s Office. Since joining the Clermont County Sheriff’s Office, Lieutenant Swallen has served as a Batavia Township contract car, been a member of the Honor Guard, and served as a Field Training Officer. He was promoted to Detective in 2021, where he was reassigned to the Criminal Investigations Section. In 2025, Lieutenant Swallen was promoted to Lieutenant, overseeing the agency’s professional standards and specialized investigations.
