Road Patrol
The majority of Clermont County’s uniformed Deputies are assigned to the Road Patrol Division. The Sheriff’s Road Patrol is the primary law enforcement service for villages in the county and ten townships in Clermont County. The patrol officers are the uniformed deputies, driving marked patrol cars, responding to calls for service within the county. The Civil Unit is also part of the Road Patrol and is primarily responsible for the service or “delivery” of legal documents in the State. This includes summonses, subpoenas, and lawsuits. They also handle evictions, repossessions, attach, and seize and sell property as ordered by the court. The Road Patrol works hand in hand with other components of the sheriff’s office such as K-9, the Special Response Team, Drone Unit, Dive Team, and Traffic Safety.
