On April 29^th, 2025, at 10:22 am the Clermont County Communications Center received a tip about a wanted subject being at the Crown Crossing Apartment Complex, in the 1700 block of Culver Court of Pierce Township, Clermont County. Pierce Township Police Department responded to the area, arriving at 10:27 am and investigated the information. A Pierce Township Police Officer contacted the Cincinnati Police Department, after finding an abandon vehicle with what appeared to be damage from a bullet. Cincinnati Police verified they were investigating a shooting that occurred on Sunday, April 27^th, 2025, in 2700 block of Glendora Avenue of the City of Cincinnati.

Both agencies were able to work together to figure out the specific apartment the suspect was staying in. Pierce Township Police requested the Clermont County Special Response Team (SRT) to execute a Search Warrant for the apartment and attempt an arrest warrant on Victor Canton, age 18, for Felonious Assault.

At 4:41 pm, the Clermont County SRT served the search warrant and took Canton into custody without incident at 4:43 pm. Canton was turned over directly to the Cincinnati Police Departments pending further investigation.
