Jeremy D. Kolodzik, 48, of Hamilton County, was indicted on April 3rd, 2025, in connection with an incident that occurred on August 16th, 2024.
A Clermont County Grand Jury returned an indictment for Kolodzik on the following charge:
(1) count of Intimidation of a Victim, a felony of the 3rd degree
(1) count of Bribery, a felony of the 3rd degree
(2) counts of Extortion, both felonies of the 3rd degree
On August 16, 2024, Jeremy Kolodzik was booked into the Clermont County Jail by the Miami Township Police Department on charges of Domestic Violence, Rape, Aggravated Burglary, Kidnapping, and Abduction.
On March 20, 2025, the Clermont County Prosecutor’s Office informed the Clermont County Sheriff’s Office Investigations Unit about a letter Mr. Kolodzik wrote to a friend in which he discussed the Miami Township case. Detectives quickly contacted the friend, who gave them the eight-page letter for review.
As detectives examined the letter, they noted several threatening statements referring to the victim of the offense for which Mr. Kolodzik is currently incarcerated. Further review revealed multiple threats in which Kolodzik expressed his intent to cause serious physical harm if the victim continued cooperating with law enforcement and the courts.
Mr. Kolodzik declined to provide a statement to detectives regarding the matter.
Kolodzik remains in custody at the Clermont County Jail on $750,000 C/P and is scheduled to appear before Clermont County Common Pleas Judge Anthony Brock for his arrangement on April 4, 2025, at 8:30 a.m.
