On November 21^st, 2025, at 3:32 a.m., the Clermont County Communications Center received a 911 call from a resident in the 5400 block of Marathon Edenton Rd., Wayne Township, who reported he had been assaulted. Deputies were dispatched to the residence and arrived at 3:40 am. Deputies made contact with the victim, who had visible injuries from the assault. 

The victim was treated on scene and transported by Wayne Township EMS to the hospital for further medical treatment with non-life-threatening injuries.

Detectives from the Sheriff’s Office responded and immediately began to investigate. Detectives learned the unknown suspects entered the residence through a side door used as a common entry/exit of the residence. The suspects struck the victim with a cylinder metal object causing injuries to the victim’s head, arm, and legs. The unknown suspects took firearms, and a cellphone from the residence and fled on foot.
