On September 11th, 2025, Daniel Brose (age 37) and Olivia Palmer (age 24) were indicted by a Clermont County Grand Jury in connection with the death of their infant child. The incident
occurred at their residence in Monroe Township, Clermont County.
A Clermont County Grand Jury returned indictments on Brose and Palmer for the following charges:
On April 9th, 2025, at approximately 5:57 a.m., Clermont County Sheriff’s Deputies, along with Monroe Township Fire and EMS personnel responded to a call regarding an unresponsive infant at a residence in the Hi-View Estates Mobile Home Park. Monroe Township Fire and EMS arrived on scene where they immediately transported the infant to Clermont Mercy Hospital for further patient care. The child was later pronounced deceased at the hospital.
Detectives from the Clermont County Sheriff’s Office responded to Clermont Mercy Hospital as well as the residence in Hi-View Estates. Detectives executed a search warrant and seized multiple items to include drug paraphernalia and electronics. Detectives interviewed both parents as well as others that lived within the home.
Further investigation performed by detectives included subsequent search warrants on both the seized electronics and social media accounts. Detectives discovered Palmer was not truthful with the events transpiring the night before the incident and also located videos of her appearing to be impaired. Palmer admitted she was impaired while co-sleeping with the infant and Brose in their bed.
