On July 11th, 2025, at 5:34 pm, deputies from the Clermont County Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of an assault at a residence in the 2700 block of Lair Road, Wayne Township. Upon arrival, deputies determined that an allegedly intoxicated male later identified as Seth Schlueter had followed a homeowner to her residence after a road rage incident that began on State Route 727 near the Stonelick Park Dam.

According to witness statements, Schlueter stopped his vehicle in the roadway, prompting the female victim to honk and drive around him. Schlueter then followed the woman to her home and then confronted the male homeowner on the front porch. Out of fear, the female victim fled behind the residence. The homeowner attempted to de-escalate the situation before retrieving his wife-female from the rear of the residence.

While the homeowners were behind the residence, Schlueter removed his children from his vehicle and entered the victim’s home without permission. Once inside he caused property damage. When the homeowners returned from the rear of their property, they found Schlueter inside the home. Schlueter struck the male victim in the face, then gathered his children and fled the scene. The victim was treated on scene by Wayne Township EMS for minor injuries and declined further treatment.

The Sheriff’s Office Investigative Unit was contacted and responded to begin an investigation. Upon arrival, deputies had Schlueter in custody and he declined to provide a statement to detectives. After consulting Clermont County Children’s Protective Services, the children were released to family members.

Schlueter was taken into custody without incident and transported to the Clermont County Jail, where he was originally charged with one count of Burglary, one count of Assault, and three counts of Endangering Children. Schlueter has remained in custody on a $100,000 cash or surety bond.

With the new indictment Schluter will remain in custody with no bond. Schlueter is scheduled to appear for an arraignment before Clermont County Common Pleas Judge Nagel on Wednesday July 16th, 2025, at 10:00 a.m.

Any additional inquiries related to this indictment or pending charges should be directed to the Clermont County Prosecutors Office at 513-732-7313.
