Jacob William Dean Addison, age 29, of Wayne Township, Clermont County, was indicted by the Clermont County Grand Jury on August 14^th, 2025, for the following charges:

(1) count of Voyeurism (minor victim) – a felony of the 5^th degree

(2) counts of Voyeurism (adult victims) –both misdemeanors of the 2^nd degree

On Thursday, May 20^th, 2025, a Clermont County resident reported an incident to the Clermont County Sheriff’s Office involving their minor child and a relative, identified as Jacob Addison. According to the report, the child discovered a cell phone set to video mode in their bedroom, recording while the child was changing clothes after a shower. After finding the device, the child returned the phone to Addison.

The Investigative Unit, from the Clermont County Sheriff’s Office was contacted and immediately began investigating the complaint. The investigation led to the execution of a Search Warrant at a residence, the 3000 block of State Route 131 in Wayne Township. During the search of the residence, detectives seized a cellphone belonging to Addison, who was at the residence during the time of the search. Addison provided a statement to detectives and admitted he left the phone in the child’s room; however, he denied concealing the phone and recording. 

A subsequent search warrant was secured by detectives to review the contents of the seized phone, which led to detectives discovering a video supporting the allegations. Additionally, detectives came across more voyeur content, identifying two (2) additional victims, both of whom are adults and previously lived with Addison during the time the videos were created.

Addison was issued a summons to appear before Clermont County Common Pleas Judge Jason Nagel on August 22, 2025, at 10:00 am for arraignment on the abovementioned charges.
